Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's autonomy and privacy and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who fits the following:

• wants to work with a cheerful guy in his 30s living in Simrishamn
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• has a B driver's license as you will be driving the client's car
• has good physical condition
• is a good swimmer
• is cheerful, energetic, curious, and enjoys trying new things

It is also meritorious if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have experience in sign language communication
• share the client's interests such as swimming and outings.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "Hourly Employment". The position involves work as needed, for acute illness absence or planned absence during daytime, evening, and nighttime on weekdays and weekends. Working hours are approximately 09:00-16:00, 16:00-08:30, 08:00-18:30, and 16:00-09:30. During the night, it is on-call time for about 7.5 hours.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
