Furuboda Assistans is a private assistance provider in southern Sweden with roots in the non-profit Furuboda Association. The company was established in 2005 and is a growing business. About the assignment

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant to a middle-aged woman in Åhus. The woman lives in a villa with her husband. She is fully verbal but has a visual impairment that requires you, as an assistant, to provide visual interpretation to ensure she has the best possible daily life. The woman has clear routines in her daily life regarding what is expected of you as an assistant. She needs help with hygiene situations, managing the home, grocery shopping, cooking, baking, etc. The woman has a great interest in cooking, baking, and gardening, so it is a plus if you share the same interests. The assistance is tied to the home, but there are times when the woman needs to visit healthcare or run other errands outside the home, and you will assist her in those situations. Working hours are scheduled for day/evening and weekends, 07:00-14:00, 14:00-19:00 on weekdays, and 08:00-14:00 on weekends. You who are applying need to be mature and stable in your personality, and master the Swedish language in both speech and writing. You will be called in as needed but primarily work during the summer. You will be offered a thorough introduction, and it is advantageous if you can start as early as spring to then possibly step in as needed.
