Partille municipality currently has 40,000 inhabitants and is a suburb in development. It is up to us, 2,900 employees, to deliver quality and service that makes it good to grow up, work, and live in Partille. This is based on our core values: equal value for all, professionalism, and a forward-looking spirit.

We at the Social and Labor Administration in Partille are currently in an exciting development phase to better meet the needs of our residents, in accordance with the new social services act that is soon to be implemented. Since winter 2023, all units within the child and youth area have been working with the approach and work model Partnering for Safety, which is a sibling to Signs of Safety. In September 2024, we launched our Safety Team, which works with children and families where there is high concern and the child is close to being placed. The Safety Team consists of a method supporter and three social workers with different backgrounds, all equally important for a favorable change process.

The Safety Team is part of the child and youth unit at the Social and Labor Administration, which consists of seventeen employees, three method supporters, and a unit manager. You will share a large, bright office with your two team colleagues. You also have access to flexible workspaces or the option to work from home if you need to focus a bit extra. We have a well-equipped, free gym that is frequently used, affordable staff parking, and wellness benefits. Process guidance occurs together with the reception group, and you will receive close work and method supervision in your daily work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for someone who wants to work with both authority exercise and treatment work and has the ability to create good relationships with clients and partners.

The Safety Team works with methods such as safety planning, network meetings, and high-intensity treatment work, in cases where there is high concern and the child/youth may need to be placed outside their own home. The target group also includes children and youth who are already placed, to enable a safe and secure return to the parental home.

A safety planning involves the team mobilizing the parents and their network to achieve a safety plan, which describes who will do what to ensure that the child/youth is always safe and secure. The job responsibilities consist of intensive family work where the team meets families several times a week. This may involve irregular working hours, which the team can largely influence. The work is flexible, complex, and challenging.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, you need to have a degree in social work. We prefer that you have experience in treatment work with children and parents, as well as good documentation skills. Experience in family work, leading network meetings, and authority exercise within the child and youth area is meritorious. A B driver's license and driving experience are required.

You have an easy time motivating people to change and work from a salutogenic and systemic approach. As a person, you are a flexible and responsible team player who enjoys working closely and intensively with your team colleagues. We place great importance on your ability to take responsibility for the common mission and balance different demands. You may need to quickly change perspectives and approaches and always maintain a solution-oriented attitude. Your ability to create good cooperation with families and internal and external partners is especially important for this position.

Do you want to be part of this team? Warm welcome with your application!
