We are now looking for a field secretary for our Resource and Treatment Team, which works proactively, preventively, and on behalf of the social services. The position includes both treatment assignments and fieldwork, which may involve working evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

As a field secretary, you will work with preventive measures to prevent children and adolescents from engaging in various destructive behaviors. The work involves both individual support contacts with children and adolescents and participation in various collaboration groups. You will work closely with schools, youth centers, police, and other stakeholders.

Your Profile

We prefer that you have experience working in social services and/or schools. As a field secretary, you need to have good knowledge of the environments and living conditions of children and adolescents. You are used to collaborating with colleagues and external partners and have the ability to create and maintain good relationships. A high degree of flexibility is necessary in this role.

Qualifications

Degree in social work/social pedagogy, behavioral science, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
Good knowledge of the tasks of individual and family care, as you will be a representative of the organization.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and create structure in your work.
Interest in strategic work and collaboration.
Curiosity and a desire to develop working methods to meet the needs of youth.
Experience working with problematic school absenteeism is an advantage.

Conditions

For this position, you must have a driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle. Field secretaries primarily work during the day, but evening work may occur as needed. For those offered employment, a background check from the National Police Board is required according to the Law on Background Checks.
