Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's autonomy and privacy, contributing to the smooth functioning of everyday life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a girl in her late teens living in Varberg
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has experience in similar work
• is non-smoking

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in transfer techniques
• have a B driver's license
• have education in care and nursing

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary job and is approximately 75%. The job involves work during the day, overnight, or at night on both weekdays and weekends. The temporary position is scheduled from week 23 to week 34 with varying working hours as follows:

Day 09:15-09:15 with 2 breaks of about 50 minutes each - on-call 6h 55min Day 09:15 -17:00 Night 17:00-09:15 with 2 breaks of about 50 minutes each - on-call 6h 55min

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
