Social Worker for the Psychosis-Bipolar Clinic in Uddevalla

Description

As our social worker goes on leave in June, we are now looking for a social worker for a 12-month temporary position at the Psychosis-Bipolar Clinic in Uddevalla.

Our mission is to provide psychiatric specialist care to individuals over 18 years old with psychotic disorders and individuals with bipolar disorder.

Those who join us will come to an organization that truly focuses on the patient, with well-established colleagues and a good work community. We are about 13 people at the clinic, including psychologists, social workers, nurses, occupational therapists, caregivers, peer support, secretaries, and doctors.

Responsibilities

As a social worker with us, you will work with assessment and treatment involving individuals, families, networks, and collaboration with both internal and external partners. The work is both planned and unplanned, individually and in groups.

In the team, you will contribute a holistic perspective and work together with other professional categories to carry out care planning, investigations, and individual support and treatment interventions. The social worker provides the psychosocial perspective and has an additional responsibility to monitor the child perspective.

You will be a primary care contact for a number of patients, which means you are responsible for coordinating care around the individual. For those interested, there will also be opportunities to work with family education and psychoeducation.

Qualifications

Degree in social work or equivalent. It is advantageous if you are a licensed healthcare social worker and/or trained in CBT.

We are looking for someone who is structured, clear, and confident in their professional role, and who has a desire to work and be part of a team. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and qualities, particularly regarding collaboration skills, initiative, and flexibility. You need to be able to work both independently and with others.

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period. The position is a 12-month temporary position with the possibility of extension.
