About the role As a support educator, you will work together with your colleagues in direct work with the users. Additionally, you will drive and apply Nytida's framework for pedagogy and contribute to the design of personal pedagogy for the users. This is to support the users in utilizing their cognitive and social abilities, strengthen their self-esteem, and enable a health-promoting life by acting as a role model and motivating them towards wellness. Together with other employees, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching, performing care-related work, ensuring pleasant premises, and participating in activities with the users. You will also guide and support employees in social documentation and implementation plans, mentor new hires, and collaborate with the unit/operations manager in development projects. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call shifts.

About the units Nytida has 11 operations in Borås, two of which belong to group 2 and the remaining belong to group 1. Our group homes are cozy and well-established units. In our residences, both women and men with varying support needs live. The residences are spread throughout Borås, with three of the operations located in Viskarfors.

Your experience and knowledge You are a trained support educator at a vocational college or have relevant university education. You have good computer skills, experience in documentation, and good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Additional requirements include experience working with the LSS target group.

As a person, you have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people. You are responsible, meticulous, and enjoy working in a team. You are happy to share your experiences and support colleagues in pedagogy, documentation, and interaction.
