Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life.
About the position
Our client is a social and active woman living in Tjörn who enjoys engaging in various activities, such as dining out, bowling, or walking by the sea.
The role of a personal assistant requires a good ability to create secure relationships, as the work involves providing support in daily life with all that it entails. Patience, attentiveness, and good communication skills are of utmost importance. It is an advantage if you enjoy an active job and are proactive.
We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
- wants to work with a woman in her 60s living in Rönnäng
- has experience in healthcare and social services
- has a valid driver's license and a car to commute to and from the workplace.
- has excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
It is also advantageous if you:
- have experience with mobility impairments
- have experience with speech difficulties
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Working hours, employment rate, and salary:
The position is a summer temporary job and runs from week 25 to week 40. The work involves day, evening, and night shifts, where all time is active working hours. Double assistance occurs for 10 hours a day. Work shifts vary between 08:00–17:00, 08:00–18:00, 09:00–17:00, 09:00–22:00, 17:00–22:00, 22:00–08:00, and 22:00–09:00.
Employment rate: On average 42% during weeks 25–40. There is an opportunity to work part of the period, which may affect the employment rate.
Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.
Start date
According to agreement.
Being employed at Humana
A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
