The welfare sector consists of four operations: disability services, home care and home health care, individual and family care, and care homes.

IFO (individual and family care) is responsible for support to children, young people, and their families, support to adults, financial assistance, as well as labor market initiatives and the reception of newcomers.

The Open Care Unit of Individual and Family Care consists of 12 treatment staff and a coordinator. The unit works with psychosocial and pedagogical treatment work with children and young people and their families. The coordinator leads and distributes the daily work and provides support to all treatment staff. Working hours are primarily during the day but evenings and weekends as needed. Flexibility agreement between 06:00-22:00.

We work from a systems theory perspective where we start from the individual's needs and design the intervention together with the individual and their network. Communication, interaction, and strengthening the resources available to the individual and their network are central parts of the treatment work to achieve the change the individual desires.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social educator, you will play a key role in social and crime prevention work, where you, together with three dedicated colleagues, work to create safer environments for young people. An important part of your assignment is to map and analyze successful methods within crime prevention work and then implement them in practice. You will be a driving force in the planning and implementation of initiatives that truly make a difference.

The social preventive work takes place in close collaboration with schools and other important actors, and a large part of your time is spent directly in the school environment, where you build relationships and work proactively to create a positive and safe atmosphere for the students.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a social or educational degree from a university or folk high school and experience in psychosocial work. Through your education and work experience, you have developed solid knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines that govern documentation and implementation of interventions within social services.

To succeed in this role, you need:

• Driver's license B (requirement)
• Experience in social change and treatment work
• Good structure and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Flexibility to adapt your workday according to current needs
• Very good collaboration skills

We consider it an advantage to have:

• Experience in social preventive and crime prevention work
• Knowledge and experience of methods specific to the area
• Experience in working with neuropsychiatric issues
