JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable support pedagogue for Persiljegatan's BmSS!

Persiljegatan is one of our operations for people with mental disabilities, along with Trädårdsberget's and Ålvåsbacken's BmSS. Each unit has a support pedagogue, and we are now looking for a new colleague who will have their primary employment at Persiljegatan while also having overall responsibility for all three units.

As a support pedagogue, you will be an important part of the team and work closely with support pedagogue colleagues, support assistants, and the unit manager. Your main task is to ensure the quality of the operation through proven methods and working practices in accordance with laws and guidelines. You have overall responsibility for pedagogical methods, documentation, and unit-specific routines. You serve as an inspiration for the workgroup and contribute to continuous development and learning.

In addition to your role at Persiljegatan, you will also support the other units as needed. You will be part of the district's support pedagogue network, led by method developers, and collaborate with colleagues and individuals in the networks of the individuals to ensure a qualitative and coordinated intervention.

Working Hours and Employment

The position comprises 38.25 hours per week. The working hours include day and evening shifts as well as weekend work approximately one weekend per month. However, we are flexible and can agree on a solution that works for both you and the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position of support pedagogue, a post-secondary specialization in the disability field is required, encompassing at least 200 YH credits, 120 university credits, or a combination thereof equivalent to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 university credits and at least two years of experience working with support and service for people with disabilities. The education must have relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.

If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through the test user Educateit.

You also need to have knowledge of legislation in the area and knowledge in MI, ESL, as well as knowledge and experience of working in a low-arousal manner.

It is advantageous if you have experience working in Treserva and with IBIC, and since the role involves a lot of documentation, you need to have good skills in handling various IT support.
