Furumossen Group Home and Hyggesvägen Service Housing offer a unique work environment where you can be a part of our development journey. At Furumossen, six residents live, and at Hyggesvägen, eight residents live, all with different disabilities and varying ages.

Currently, an exciting co-planning process is underway between the units, which means you will have the opportunity to work at both locations. Our residences are located in Furulund with good communications to Allum shopping center.

We are in the process of implementing our digital operational support system, Boet, which is a revolutionary solution that supports both residents and staff and manages the ongoing co-planning between our units. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support assistant with us, you will have a meaningful role where you support residents in everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and leisure activities. We actively work to strengthen residents' self-determination and influence, which gives them an increased sense of participation.

We are in an exciting development phase where Boet replaces several of our analog tools and creates new opportunities for residents to be more involved in their daily support. We have already seen positive changes and want to continue to empower and uplift residents to do what they can.

Structure & Working Methods

We work with contact person assignments through three contact person groups, where a support pedagogue leads each group. Each group consists of a support pedagogue and 5-6 support assistants who together plan and follow up on the goal work for 4-5 residents. This way, we ensure that each resident receives continuous support from more than one contact person.

The implementation plan is the foundation of our work, and with the support of Boet, we can easily keep it alive and central in daily work, as well as follow up and document goal work. We constantly strive for increased participation and self-determination.

Approach

We work based on a clarifying and low-arousal approach where we support residents in making decisions about their own lives and home environments. Our methods aim to strengthen the resident's self-esteem and belief in their own abilities.

Competence Development

With us, you will have the opportunity to develop! We invest in continuous competence development and train all staff in Studio 3. Additionally, we are planning an initiative to strengthen the use of AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) to improve communication with residents.

We would love for you to have a genuine interest in digitization and welfare technology, as you will be the icing on the cake in our workgroup!

Working Hours & Schedule

Working hours are primarily scheduled for afternoons and evenings, with on-call duties and work every other weekend. Since the operation has the greatest need for staff when residents are home from daily activities, the scheduling is adapted accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed training from the care program, is a trained support assistant, or has equivalent training. It is a great advantage if you have completed courses in the disability field.

For this role, experience working within LSS is required, preferably in group or service housing with a mixed target group. Previous experience with dementia is meritorious, as is knowledge of AAC and low-arousal approaches.

Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement. You should also have basic computer skills and experience with documentation. Experience with Treserva and working according to the individual's needs in focus (IBIC) is meritorious.

We allocate a maximum of 1.5 hours for each occasion.

For work within the care and nursing administration in Partille municipality, you need to have a passing grade in Swedish from elementary school, or SFI-D to handle documentation.
