We are looking for a dedicated and responsible personal assistant for a child with autism who lives with their family in Hindås. The position is a part-time job during evenings and weekends.

The child has a great interest in music, and there are instruments like guitar and piano at home. In your role, you will be an important support in the child's daily life by reminding, motivating, and encouraging during daily activities such as hygiene, meals, and dressing. No transfer movements are required as the child can walk, run, and is eager to be active. There is a clear structure, and the day is guided by routines. The child needs your care and attention throughout the work shift as they cannot foresee consequences.

Important to know: The child has a severe allergy to oats, which means you need to be careful and attentive in all food situations.

Communication and interaction The child communicates using sign language or signs as support. Experience with alternative communication is an advantage, but above all, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and willing to learn.

Who are we looking for?

We would like you to:

• Have experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Hold a B driver's license and have access to a car to get to the workplace
• Have good collaboration skills and can work closely with relatives, colleagues, and the operations manager
• Thrive in a structured environment with clear routines
• Be attentive and caring

Employment type: As long as the assistance assignment lasts

Scope: Part-time.

Working hours: Evenings and weekends

Start date: By agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
