JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want an exciting and developing job with engaged colleagues? We are looking for a new colleague for the Adult Unit 2 in the Social Administration center at Mäster Johansgatan 2. The position is a permanent employment.

The Adult Unit works with harmful use and dependency, comorbidity/mental health issues, violence in close relationships, housing, and eviction prevention work. We are now looking for social workers who are flexible and can work with all issues within the unit, but primarily focus on harmful use, dependency, and comorbidity. The Adult Unit 2 consists of a unit manager, three senior social workers, and 22 employees divided into two investigation groups, one housing group, and one group for eviction prevention work. The groups are supervised by the three senior social workers.

The social workers' task is to investigate applications and reports, assess the need for interventions, formulate assignments for implementation, and follow up on interventions. The investigative work is conducted according to applicable legislation, SoL and LVM, and in our investigative work, we apply ASI, FREDA, and Patriark. A large part of the work involves collaboration both internally and externally.

As a social worker with us, you will become part of an engaged workgroup and unit. You will receive an individually tailored introduction based on your needs. You will have support in your daily work from your senior social worker and methodological guidance together in the group. You will also have regular process supervision and professional development.

In the long term, we will move from Mäster Johansgatan to new offices at Skånegatan 9A, as part of the administration's ongoing co-location.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position, you need to have a degree in social work. The investigation group works to investigate the need for interventions according to SoL and LVM, which means you need to be well acquainted with the current legislation in the area. You also need to have experience in authority exercise within social services.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with harmful use and dependency issues as well as housing and violence in close relationships. Experience working in Treserva, training in MI, ASI, and Patriark is also advantageous. Furthermore, a B driver's license is desirable for the position.

You ensure that activities you have started are completed and follow up on results. Furthermore, you have the ability to create trusting relationships as you have many different networks at various levels. You can meet your surroundings with respect, listen, and develop an understanding of the person and situation to make correct decisions. You should be able to convey information pedagogically, and to succeed in your job, you need to be flexible and patient in your contact with users. You enjoy documenting and express yourself well in speech and writing.

The role also requires you to take responsibility for your work and be able to work independently. Collaboration and cooperation with both internal and external actors are part of everyday life, and you therefore need to be easy to collaborate with others.
