Social Administration Sydväst is one of four social administrations in the City of Gothenburg with around 900 employees. The urban area of Sydväst has approximately 120,000 residents and stretches from Billdal to Högsbohöjd and to the southern archipelago. The administration's mission is to ensure that children, youth, and adults can live a safe and independent life and that children and youth have a rich leisure time. The administration also works to support homeless individuals towards permanent housing. Through collaboration with civil society, local businesses, and other stakeholders, we aim to improve public health and safety in the area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Housing First method is a proven approach used to support individuals experiencing homelessness who have mental health issues or substance abuse problems. The method is based on creating conditions for these individuals to escape homelessness. Our mission comes from the regulatory social services and is based on offering these individuals their own home first, followed by flexible and individually tailored support and treatment. Our work involves close collaboration with Social Administrations, the Support Services Administration, the Development Administration, property owners, non-profit organizations, healthcare, and many more. Gothenburg's plan to combat homelessness sees Housing First as a key component in reducing homelessness. We are in an exciting development phase where we are working on a joint action plan for expansion in the city and the new social services act.
We are now looking for someone who wants to contribute to quality assurance of the operations from a holistic perspective. The job responsibilities include:
- Method leadership which involves methodological support, formalization and implementation of methods, as well as quality assurance of systematic quality work
- Coordination responsibility during moves in and out
- Contact person for questions regarding Housing First and eviction prevention work
- Participate in creating and updating routines
- Support to management regarding staffing planning and operational development
- Collaborate with internal and external parties and contribute to competence development
As there is an ongoing process regarding the job title for this function, the name of the position may change based on upcoming decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS
The basic requirement is that you have at least a three-year university degree in social work or another education that the employer deems equivalent. - Required
Previous experience in coordination or process leadership roles related to services supporting individuals in social vulnerability. - Required
Good knowledge of the Housing First methodology - Desirable

You plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. You ensure that tasks are completed on time and follow up on results.

You are motivated by learning new things and developing. You come up with new ideas and take the initiative for improvements. You actively monitor trends in your professional field and regularly reflect on what needs to be developed in your operations.

You can see your work as part of a larger context and understand how it affects and is affected by other parts of the organization. You collaborate with others on overarching issues to create value. You take into account various sources of information and perspectives and can adapt others' ideas to your own operations.
Pedagogical - Desirable
You have a good understanding of how individuals absorb knowledge and their different conditions. You adapt the way you convey your message to the recipient and encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement.
