ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are now looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client outside Alingsås. There is an opportunity to request a working degree between 50-100%. We primarily seek someone interested in working nights, but it is also important that you are flexible and can cover other times as needed.

The working hours are distributed as follows:

• 07:00-17:00
• 17:00-23:00
• 23:00-07:00 awake night.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a man in his 30s living with a brain injury and epilepsy. He has significant support needs and uses aids such as a shower chair and wheelchair. He requires full support from you as an assistant during transfers, and there is a lift available in the home for this purpose.

As an assistant to our client, you will, among other things:

• Assist with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing
• Contribute to making his days meaningful by participating in activities he enjoys
• Follow the client's daily condition based on his medical status.

The client has a great interest in cooking and enjoys preparing delicious meals. He enjoys walks in nature, appreciating the fresh air. Additionally, he loves singing and listening to audiobooks is one of his favorite pastimes.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone with a big heart and who is attentive in their work. Are you reliable, empathetic, and passionate about creating a safe and pleasant environment? Then this could be the job for you!

You should also be flexible, observant, and have a sense of touch to meet the client's various emotions and conditions during work shifts. The client prefers female applicants, but the most important thing for us is your personality and suitability – that always comes first.

REQUIREMENTS

• Can work in a home with pets
• Driver's license and car to get to the workplace
• Previous experience working as a personal assistant, or alternatively trained as a nursing assistant
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

MERITS

• Experience working with epilepsy or brain injuries

Start date: To be agreed upon, and we would like to see you start the introduction immediately.

Employment degree: Between 50-100%, with the possibility to request your own working degree.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
