The City Service Administration has an important and exciting mission to deliver, coordinate, and develop services for residents and administrations in the City of Mölndal. The administration has about 550 employees and is organized into four operational areas: meals and local care, water and recycling, city maintenance, and staff and customer service.

City Maintenance has about 150 employees who manage the operation, maintenance, and development of the municipality's public environments. We are responsible for properties, streets, parks, and green areas as well as other indoor and outdoor spaces. Through our work, we contribute to a clean, safe, and pleasant city for residents and visitors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants an operational role where you support and guide employees in labor market policy initiatives.

The Outdoor Facilities unit carries out labor market policy initiatives to strengthen individuals' opportunities to establish themselves in the regular labor market. Today, the unit consists of 18 employees. The work is tailored to the individual's needs and circumstances, but for most, the focus is on work with trails and paths.

As a job coach, you have daily contact with the employees and act as a link between them and the unit manager. Your role includes guiding and supporting participants in their tasks and development. The coach follows up on participants' progress and adjusts their tasks based on needs and abilities. An important part of the assignment is also to ensure a safe working environment by adhering to applicable workplace regulations in daily work.

The tasks may vary, but the focus is primarily on the maintenance and upkeep of exercise trails, riding paths, and trails. Other tasks may include work to promote biodiversity, such as clearing and cleaning green areas, tree felling, mowing, and maintaining natural areas and parks. Construction and carpentry work may also occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a job coach, you guide and coach employees from various backgrounds, which requires experience in leadership.

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education and work experience in the following areas:

• Labor market measures and rehabilitation.
• Construction and/or green care.

Alternatively, you may have other experience that the employer considers equivalent. It is advantageous if you have experience with machines for clearing and nature conservation.

We place great importance on personal qualities and are looking for someone who is attentive, has confidence in people's abilities and potential, and sees the value in diversity. You are stable, secure in your role, and have an easy time collaborating and adapting to new situations.

You need to be communicative in both spoken and written language and have good IT skills, especially in the Office suite. A B driver's license is a requirement.
