JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

LSS for Personal Assistance

As a part-time and/or summer substitute in personal assistance, you will work to provide care and support in various life situations, both at home and during activities outside. You will provide pedagogical support for the individual, and the work includes personal care and working with feeding tubes.

As a personal assistant, you support and help individuals in their daily lives. It is important that you enjoy taking responsibility and initiative. Your tasks include creating good conditions for the individual, working based on their needs, being a part of their environment in daily life, and accompanying them to various activities. The work may also involve administering medication based on delegation from a nurse.

As an assistant, you play a significant role in creating a meaningful daily life and contribute to well-being and independence.

We are currently looking for individuals for a case involving children, where you will work day/evening or awake night shifts. We are also seeking individuals for awake night shifts with an adult person requiring double staffing.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is advantageous if you have a completed or ongoing education from a nursing program or education that the employer deems equivalent. Previous experience in similar tasks is also advantageous. Having a B driver's license is a plus, as some positions require it. Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities, and we prioritize candidates who can work throughout the summer.

OTHER

In Vårgårda Municipality, full-time is the norm with the possibility of part-time work. If full-time positions are unavailable, it means that jobs can be combined with other tasks or at another workplace.
