Who will you be working with?

Ebba is 15 years old, has a rare diagnosis called Rett Syndrome, and lives with her parents and younger sister in Lindome, not far from Lindome station, fifteen minutes by train from Gothenburg.

Ebba enjoys being around creative, proactive people who like to come up with ideas. She loves music, riding, and enjoys swimming. As her assistant, you will work with Ebba to train communication using an eye-controlled computer, implement training programs from a physiotherapist, and assist her with other basic needs. Ebba has mild epilepsy, requires help with feeding, and receives medication via a PEG button. You will also be Ebba's link to interaction with others in her environment and her support in outward communication.

Job Scope

Ebba is looking for someone who can work approximately 40% (15 hours/week) on a rolling schedule, afternoons/evenings on certain weekdays, every other weekend, and extra during school holidays. Some nights, you will also be on call at Ebba's home. The position is a temporary contract until February 2026 with good opportunities for extension.
