Within the Unit for Support and Employment, there are several operations; housing support, activity house, establishment, and labor market. We are 12 people working together at Hedens by on Hönö and also have a nature conservation team within the labor market that has its premises on Öckerö.

The advertised position is a summer substitute where your main task is as an activity leader in our activity house. An operation aimed at people with mental health issues and disabilities.

In addition, you will also act as an extra resource within the unit's other operations as needed; establishment, housing support, and labor market.

As an activity leader, you will plan and run our summer activities in the activity house together with a serving regular colleague. In planning activities, you will also include our participants who have a significant influence on the design of the operations. The activity house is an important social gathering point for our participants. The activities vary widely and can include excursions, cooking with a shared meal, crafts, various creative activities, dance, gym visits, etc.

As a resource person in our other operations, you provide support and information to newly arrived individuals and job seekers. You may also serve as a resource within our housing support operations as needed.

Your background

We are looking for someone studying to become a social worker, behavioral scientist, treatment pedagogue, support assistant, nursing assistant, or another relevant education for the position. If you have experience working with mental disabilities or other social work, we consider it an asset.

Since you need to communicate with our users clearly, you must have a good command of the Swedish language. Great importance will be placed on your personal qualities, such as being empathetic, responsible, pedagogical, and good at taking initiative. A good attitude and an interest in the target group, where it is evident that you believe in people's potential and ability to develop, are important.

You must be at least 18 years old and hold a B driver's license.

We offer

As a summer substitute with us, you will work together with regular staff and receive ongoing introduction to the various tasks and needs that arise.

We are a small unit where everyone helps each other to provide the right support to our target groups.

The main task is to plan and run our summer activities in the activity house together with a regular colleague. A creative assignment in community with our visitors.
