Wasaskolan is located right next to large green areas with a newly renovated schoolyard for recess activities. Inside, you will find a well-maintained, equipped school with bright rooms and plenty of natural light, as well as a completely new cafeteria. We have a nice school library with a trained librarian where students can sit and read or borrow books. Wasaskolan is a K-9 school with about 520 students. We also have an adapted primary school, which provides good integration opportunities. Here, you will meet a large student health team, good administration, and maintenance staff, all to ensure that you as a teacher have the best support in your teaching. Together, we who work at the school form a strength of about 80 staff.

A day at work

You will work part-time, 50%. You will be responsible for and conduct teaching in German from grades 6 to 9. You will teach in an inspiring, exciting, developing, and inclusive way with a focus on students' development and learning. The position also includes other usual teacher tasks such as collegial collaboration, assessment, conferences, and contact with guardians. You will focus on the quality of teaching through recurring reflection and analysis of pedagogical leadership as well as goal and result management. You will be part of the 7-9 work team where you support and help each other in the social work around students and plan for the highest possible goal fulfillment.

Who are you?

Requirements:
- Degree with teaching certification, specializing in German with authorization to teach grades 7-9.
- You are well acquainted with the school as an organization and are familiar with the assignment and governing documents.
- You have good knowledge of the Swedish and Spanish languages and can confidently conduct teaching.

Meritorious:
- Experience teaching German at the secondary level.
- Experience and knowledge in using digital tools.
- Experience working in a multicultural area.

Personal qualities:
- You are secure, stable, and a good role model in your leadership.
- You enjoy working solution-focused.
