At Västerholm, we are now looking for someone who wants to make a difference! Are you a person who is passionate about supporting students in their language development and loves working closely with colleagues in a wonderful team? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

In this role, you will work both directly with students in need of support and provide special educational guidance. You will work across all grades from preschool to year 9, with a particular focus on the lower grades. In your work, you will be involved in assessing needs, planning interventions, and methods so that students can benefit from teaching in the best possible way. In your pedagogical leadership, you are clear, creative, and stimulating, and comfortable using digital tools.

You will be part of the school's student health team, which includes the principal, vice principals, special education teachers, counselors, school nurses, school psychologists, and school doctors. Together, you are responsible for promoting, preventing, and supporting all students, as well as providing targeted interventions. Along with other special education teachers, you will be responsible for overseeing the special educational needs of the school and where resources should be allocated. The student health educators also have the task of guiding and supporting teachers and after-school staff in working with students in need of special support. The responsibility also includes leading ESM (student support meetings) together with the working teams and the counselor.
