Job Responsibilities

Your task as a camp leader at Akka's campgrounds is to be responsible for children aged 9-12 years and to plan and lead activities for this participant group. Camp involves round-the-clock activities for participants and us leaders. As a leader, you live and work on the campgrounds together with the children and other leaders, so you need to be comfortable being away from home for at least 6 weeks. A significant part of the job is to meet the participants' needs and be able to guide them in their decisions. To meet this, we believe that you as a person need to be secure in yourself, your leadership role, and be able to set boundaries while feeling comfortable in more life-oriented conversations.

Experience:

You who are applying should have a strong interest in being outdoors or experience in outdoor education, as most of our activities are conducted outdoors. Activities we do include hiking, building rafts, playing games, swimming, and cooking outdoors. We will also have artistic activities such as theater, dance, and singing. Disco, football tournaments, and themed days are also on the schedule. Since we have such a variety of activities, we see it as an advantage if you have a background/experience as a leisure educator.

Utepedagogik Sverige AB conducts camp activities at various campgrounds for children and youth aged 9-16 years, focusing on adventure and outdoor education. Employment conditions

The position is full-time. You must be able to attend our training days on-site at the campgrounds in Värmland from May 1 - May 4, and June 6 - 11. During the summer, you need to be able to work and thus be away from home for at least six weeks during the period June 12 - August 18.
