Internationella Engelska Skolan in Solna is a primary school with grades 4-9 and approximately 800 students.

Job responsibilities

We are now looking for a certified teacher for the upper secondary level with subject qualifications in chemistry, physics, biology, and technology. The position includes shared mentorship.

You will be part of a teaching team where time is allocated to jointly develop teaching and leadership in the classroom. As a teacher with us, you find it enjoyable, stimulating, and rewarding to teach students from different parts of the world and give each student the opportunity to develop based on their own conditions and abilities.

Together with your colleagues, you create the conditions for students' knowledge development to achieve the goals of the curriculum. You plan, implement, and evaluate teaching and work to create a safe and stimulating learning environment. You take responsibility for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' knowledge development.

You take initiative and provide clear leadership in the classroom.

Qualifications

We are now looking for a certified primary school teacher with subject qualifications in technology, chemistry, and/or physics for grades 7-9. Qualifications in other subjects are an advantage. You have a positive view of people and the ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. As a teacher with us, you find it enjoyable, stimulating, and rewarding to teach students from several different countries and give each student the opportunity to develop based on their own conditions and abilities.

• You plan, implement, and evaluate teaching and work to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.
• You take responsibility for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' knowledge development.
• You take initiative and have clear leadership in the classroom.
• You communicate clearly and effectively and have the ability to motivate and inspire students to embrace new knowledge.
• You can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• You have experience participating in the process and grading of the national tests in science.
• You have good knowledge of ICT as a pedagogical tool.
