About the job

The position is a temporary contract at the middle school level starting in August. The contract extends until June 2026. We are looking for a certified teacher for grades 7-9 who will teach Swedish/Swedish as a second language. In this role, you will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in grades 7-9 in accordance with the school's governing documents, both individually and in teams. Mentorship is included.

Your profile

You are a certified teacher in Swedish/Swedish as a second language, and it is an advantage if you have another subject. You have documented experience working in a multicultural school, and you have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish. You should also have experience in adapting your teaching for students with special needs. You are flexible and have good collaboration skills, easily building good relationships and cooperating with students, guardians, your team, the school's student health team, and school management. In your pedagogical leadership, you are a clear leader, and in teaching, you have the ability to create a working environment characterized by safety, trust, respect, and student influence. You have good didactic skills, solid knowledge, and a clear structure in your teaching. You have experience working with SKUA and language-developing methods. Your teaching is varied and stimulates students' development and learning. You see yourself as an essential part of creating good conditions for students' learning. You have a good ability for analysis and reflection and continuously develop your teaching.
