About Ekebyhovskolan
EKBYHOVSKOLAN is a primary school (F-6) with approximately 550 students, including adapted primary education. The school is located in a picturesque area of Ekerö, close to forests and nature. Our proximity to central Ekerö allows for good connections to both Bromma and Stockholm. There are also good connections to the southern side of Stockholm via the Ekerö-Slagsta ferry.
In the autumn term of 2025, Ekebyhovskolan will move into new, fresh premises on Bryggavägen. Ekebyhovskolan is a safe school characterized by enjoyment and joy. The school has a structured organization where systematic quality work is a major focus. We always strive to engage our students and provide them with the conditions to be involved and have influence in the school's activities. We want our school to be a place where both students and staff feel joy in their work and a desire to learn.
Job Description
In Ekerö Municipality, our educators have time for the children and teaching – today we are one of Sweden's leading school municipalities. Our surroundings are made for connecting to parts of the curriculum with our rich nature and cultural history. To provide children with the best conditions, our municipal preschools and schools continuously share experiences and lessons with each other. Here, we see collegial learning as a prerequisite for children's development.
We are looking for a leisure teacher with development responsibility for the teaching in the leisure center. As a leisure teacher, you will help coordinate and drive the pedagogical development work forward. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the leisure center's activities in accordance with national goals and guidelines. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to a positive, meaningful, and developing environment before and after school, as well as during breaks and holidays. You will be part of a team with both teachers and leisure staff. The position includes both school and leisure activities.
You are attentive and pick up on students' interests, ideas, and suggestions for activities. You have high ambitions and a passion for what you do. We offer an exciting and challenging assignment where you as a pedagogical developer will have the time and opportunity to develop the operations together with colleagues and school management during both individual and joint planning time.
We would like you to be a driving person who dares to think exploratively and develop together with your colleagues. You should understand the importance of creating good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues as a foundation for learning.

About Ekerö Municipality
We are a variety of operations that together create a unique municipality – where we all help each other across unit and operational boundaries.
