Are you interested in working with people? Do you enjoy finding the best solutions for those around you and meeting children and young people where they are? Then you might be the right person for us!

Innovitaskolan Joriel, located in the beautiful Långbro park in Fruängen, is a special school (Primary School and Adapted Primary School F-9) that also includes leisure activities and short-term supervision for students with various types of physical and, in many cases, intellectual disabilities. The school focuses on communication and conductive pedagogy.

In your role as a resource, you will help students in various ways during school and leisure as well as during breaks. They need assistance to varying degrees in all aspects of the school day. Our students study everything from primary school to the different curricula of adapted primary school and communicate in a variety of ways.

Many of the students do not have a spoken language but communicate with their surroundings in other ways. For example, using various types of AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) such as sign language support, eye-gaze computers, or picture communication. To communicate and benefit from schoolwork, they need support in many different ways. If you have knowledge of sign language or sign language support, it is an advantage. All students use many aids throughout the day - but you can learn that when you come here. Good spoken Swedish is a prerequisite for being able to communicate with our students and understand the complexities of our operations. If you also have knowledge of other languages, that is good, but not a requirement. The work can sometimes be physically demanding, so you need to be in good physical shape.

The most important thing for us is that you are a person who is interested in people, wants to help our students become as independent as possible, and is flexible and open to what the day may bring!

Our recruitment process is as follows:

1. Those selected for step 1 will be invited for an interview, either in a group or individually.
2. Those who proceed to step 2 will be scheduled for an extended interview day, which means you will be involved in the operations for a full day, concluding with a conversation/interview again.
3. We will call your references, and then you will receive a response from us.
