We are looking for a certified teacher for teaching in a special education group who wants to be part of our journey to develop Ribbyskolan F-9 in Haninge municipality.

Ribbyskolan is currently a F-9 school with approximately 900 students and around 100 staff. We have a pleasant school with a good environment and a staff that feels highly motivated to teach, develop, and support their students. We have good technical standards, we work with interactive boards and digital tools, and we explore new methods to enhance learning.

We are in an exciting development process as a school where we are building a new learning organization in new premises together.

Your mission

Ribbyskolan currently has three special education groups consisting of 10-12 students. Your role will involve planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work based on the school's governing documents and the needs of the students. You will collaborate with other school staff to create a good learning and working environment for students. Your mission includes developing the educational activities to be both inspiring and challenging for all students. You will have the support of all functions within the student health team.

Qualifications:

You are a certified teacher in NO, SO, and technology, and you have extensive experience working with special education groups in primary school and knowledge of NPF. You should be familiar with the primary school curriculum and see it as a privilege and challenge to work with students who have special competencies and challenges.

You have a conscious pedagogical approach and a positive view of students, based on the belief that all students can and want to succeed. In your work, you are clear and structured. You build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. In our workplace, clarity and low-arousal responses are important. You act independently while also valuing good collaboration. You have the desire and ability to develop the use of digital learning and support tools to clarify pedagogy.

You are solution-oriented and dare to think outside the box. You will be part of a team where there are demands for good collaboration and where everyone works selflessly for the benefit of all students. In your role, you, along with your colleagues, will help develop the operations, make teaching and the learning environment accessible. You work based on the intentions described in the Education Act, the curriculum, and the students' plans, and maintain good and continuous communication with other staff, guardians, student health, and external contacts. As a person, you are motivated by creating good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
