We are now looking for a licensed preschool teacher at Montessoriförskolan Solvändan in Stocksund who either has experience in - or a great interest in - Montessori pedagogy. The position is a temporary replacement for one of our employees who will be on parental leave. We strive for our children to become secure and independent individuals. Curiosity, exploration, and learning are important cornerstones of our operations. We want children to reflect themselves in meetings with other children and adults and to develop their empathy and understanding during the important preschool years. We want to highlight children's experiences, thoughts, and feelings and see them grow in independence and trust. We cherish language and communication to provide children with tools for their thoughts and feelings in interactions with others and in society.

Requirements:

· Preschool teacher degree.

· Preschool teacher license.

· Previous experience or a strong interest in Montessori pedagogy.

· Excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

· Familiarity with using computers/tablets/mobile phones as tools.

Additionally, we are looking for someone who has:

· a clear child focus reflected in your approach to daily work,

· knowledge of how you and your team can realize the goals and values of the curriculum,

· knowledge of how to make visible and further develop children's learning processes through pedagogical documentation,

· a strong drive to keep the development of pedagogical learning environments alive,

· excellent collaboration skills with guardians and colleagues,

· a very good ability to plan and prioritize your work effectively,

· the ability to lead and motivate others and share your experiences and knowledge.

Employment form

The position is a temporary position from 2025-08-04 to 2026-02-28 with the possibility of extension. Full-time 100%.
