Workplace Description

Skarpnäcks School is located in Kärrtorp in southern Stockholm and is a F-9 school with approximately 950 students, including about 75 students in preschool and about 45 students in adapted primary school, and around 160 staff members.

The vision of Skarpnäcks School is: To learn and succeed in school with the goal of providing all students with tools for lifelong learning, a safe school environment, and conditions for physical, mental, and social well-being. The school actively works with inclusion both in primary school and between primary school and adapted primary school. Your Role

We are looking for an engaged and experienced teacher with qualifications in Swedish and Art for grades 7-9. You are a relational teacher who wants to work with students' overall development from a salutogenic perspective. You will be responsible for preparation, implementation, follow-up, and assessment of teaching. You have a strong commitment to your students and are well aware of the school's mission. For you, the student should always be at the center, and you should be good at communicating with students as well as guardians and colleagues.

The position involves teaching grades 7-9 in both Swedish and Art. Mentorship is included in the assignment.

The position is a full-time temporary position.

Qualifications

You must have a teaching license for the subjects Swedish and Art with qualifications to teach in grades 7-9.
You are knowledgeable in your field and have a good ability to lead student groups.
You are flexible and solution-focused.
You find it easy to collaborate with colleagues.
You are positive and open to new thoughts and ideas, and you have your own ideas that benefit the students.
You have good self-awareness and self-knowledge.
Great importance is placed on personal qualities to match with colleagues regarding collaboration and well-being in the work team.
