JENSEN Gymnasium Norra is looking for a Special Educator

Responsibilities and Duties

We are looking for you who are an educated and experienced special educator or are nearing the end of your education. You will be part of the student health team and responsible for the school's work with students in need of extra adjustments and special support.

• Coordination responsibility for an effective student health structure together with the principal.
• Supportive/coaching function for employees in special educational matters, supervision.
• Support students/student groups based on needs.
• You should contribute to the school's goals and be engaged in the entire school's development.
• Responsible for pedagogical assessments.
• Document in the journal system.
• Be a sounding board and consultant to teachers and take cases through both EHT and as a coach or teacher.

You should contribute to ensuring that students meet the knowledge requirements and reach their full potential by supporting teachers in their teaching with methods, materials, and guidance. You should promote students' development and learning. This at the teacher level, for example, through lesson visits, observations, assessments, tests, guidance, and method development. At the student level, you see it as a natural part of the special educational mission to work closely with our students, for example, through informal conversations in our common areas or workshops with classes or individual student guidance. As a special educator, you see it as an important and natural part to be present in classes to follow up and support both teachers and students regarding the learning situation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are an educated special educator or have started training to become a special educator with previous experience. Special teachers may also be of interest. As a person, you have, just like us, a great commitment to develop. You are structured and driven. In our recruitment, great emphasis is placed on personal suitability for the position.

Employment Form

The position is a permanent employment of 70-100% depending on subject qualifications. Start August 8, 2025, or by agreement. For this position, we apply a holiday service and six months probationary period.

If you do not have BankID, you can order the form home; do this as soon as possible as manual handling of the form takes a long time.
