Gullingeskolan, "the small school for students with big dreams", focuses on quality in teaching to give our students the best possible chance to succeed in their studies and as young people.

It is obvious for us to focus on language-developing methods, inclusion, and value-based work. Gullingeskolan is a dynamic school characterized by high expectations on students and staff. Here, many different cultures come together to learn from and with each other. We are a F-6 school with about 290 students and also include adapted primary school and after-school care.

We are centrally located in Tensta near public transport. Within walking distance, there are forests and meadows including Järvafältet, Eggeby farm, Spånga village, Spånga IP, and Tensta swimming hall which we use in our teaching. Our dedicated and competent staff sees collegial learning as an important part of the development of our operations to provide our students with high knowledge development. The after-school staff has a coherent time for collegial, departmental, and individual planning one morning per week. Each department has a coordinator who works together with the deputy principal once a week.

Your role

We are looking for a childcare worker who wants to help develop the operations for our small teaching group aimed at younger ages. The assignment involves complementing learning in primary school, planning, leading, and following up activities, as well as supporting students in their social and academic development. You will work to stimulate students' development and learning throughout the day and offer meaningful time in after-school care. You will be part of a work team with a group of teachers, childcare workers, and after-school teachers, who together are responsible for the students in your grade.

Your competence and experience

At Gullingeskolan, we have prioritized having a small teaching group for students with special needs. In this position, it means that you will work with students with various NPF diagnoses in close collaboration with a teacher. We therefore see it as meritorious if you have experience of similar tasks previously, as well as personal qualities. The City of Stockholm works with competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's competence and thus counteracting discrimination.
