The Department of Children and Education works on behalf of the preschool committee and the primary school committee. The department is responsible for preschool activities, school-age childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. About the Position

Segeltorpsskolan is a school for grades 4 to 9 with open leisure activities for children up to 12 years old. The school has approximately 700 students.

Segeltorpsskolan is located in northern Huddinge between Fruängen and Kungens Kurva. The proximity to the big city and nature creates great opportunities for children and their learning and development.

Segeltorpsskolan's fundamental view is that people have the will to develop, but we have different conditions and ways of doing so. All our students should discover the joy of acquiring knowledge. The position is a temporary contract from April 7 to June 12, 2025.

Who Are You?

You have good knowledge in the subjects of Mathematics/Natural Science/Technology to be able to teach students in grade 7. It is highly meritorious if you have a teaching qualification in these subjects. If you do not have a teaching degree, we expect you to have academic knowledge that enables you to teach as a substitute teacher in these subjects.

Being a teacher and professional educator in Huddinge Municipality means that you have high expectations and a belief that all students can succeed based on their conditions. You create good relationships, both with students and guardians, built on trust and respect. You are aware of your own impact on students' learning. Based on students' results, research, and proven experience, you follow up on the quality of teaching, reflect, and evaluate in order to develop the teaching.
