At the Education Administration in Järfälla Municipality, around 3,100 employees work in one of our 39 preschools, 22 schools, high school, adult education, and central administration. Kvarnskolan is a secondary school within walking distance from Jakobsberg's center and therefore also within walking distance from commuter trains and buses. At the same time, we have a swimming pool, sports hall, ice rink, padel hall, and football field in our immediate vicinity. We have over 370 students, more than 50 staff, and our own kitchen. As a special teacher with us, you will work closely with students, teachers, and the EHT to provide support and adapted teaching in Swedish.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Individual support and teaching in Swedish.
• Teaching in a special education group.
• Mapping students' needs and planning and conducting lessons.
• Adapting materials and teaching methods that contribute to an inclusive learning environment.
• Collaboration with subject teachers and the student health team.
• Development of strategies to strengthen students' reading and writing skills.
• Guidance and support to colleagues in special educational matters.

QUALIFICATIONS

Special teacher with subject competence in Swedish or teacher in Swedish with special pedagogical competence. Qualification in Swedish as a second language is an asset.
