Sundsvall Municipality is now looking for an engaged and curious IT technician who wants to contribute to our IT operations and digital development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a junior IT technician, you will be an important part of our team and work with:

• Operation and maintenance of our IT systems, including Linux and Windows Server and various types of virtualization solutions
• Support and troubleshooting, where you assist and manage incidents
• Operation of our systems, ensuring that our systems function today and tomorrow
• Ongoing development of the IT environment together with senior colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have post-secondary education in IT or equivalent experience.
• You have basic knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization
• You are solution-oriented, curious, and want to develop within IT
• You express yourself well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
