IT Technician at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency

At the Product Unit Server, 13 employees work. We who work in the unit provide operation, ongoing management, and maintenance, as well as development of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's data center. We work to increase the digital exchange of information, and we are responsible for secure IT operations for several authorities. Operation, Development, Management

As an IT technician for the Data Center Service, your main responsibility is to develop and manage the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's data center infrastructure, in both physical and virtual data centers. This includes, among other things, solving problems and incidents according to the ITIL framework, participating in change management, testing, verifying, and implementing quality-enhancing measures within our daily production. Your tasks include participating in project work as a representative of the Product Unit Server to secure production and new development. We are looking for someone who

• has a university degree or experiences and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
• has knowledge of or experience working in large and complex IT environments
• has knowledge of VMware Cloud Director
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• has good communication skills, both spoken and written
• has a systematic and meticulous working method
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you

• have knowledge of the ITIL framework and its processes, especially incident, problem, change, and release
• have knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (vSphere and NSX)
• have experience in server operations
• understand how segmented networks work
• have experience with automation and tools such as Ansible, Git, or Powershell.

A permanent, full-time position, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be relevant. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. For this position, Swedish citizenship is required. In this recruitment, psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process. Travel may occur in the position. Place of employment: Sundsvall, but another location may be relevant.
