In the IT department, exciting development work is underway, with several major reforms combining the renewal of technology, processes, and skills.

In our system development, we use, to mention a few - distributed microservice architecture, container platform, Java, JavaScript frameworks, MQ, .Net, and SpringBoot.

We work with both custom-developed and standard systems, and right now we are building a completely new system support for the Transition Study Support.

Based on the needs of the business, you plan and manage your own day. You work in teams where we have high trust in each other's abilities, learn from each other, and solve challenges together. Job Responsibilities

As a system developer with us, you will work in a team together with IT specialists (focusing on testing or requirements), system developers, team leaders, and architects.

We work on developing new IT support, as well as maintaining existing IT support to ensure they function today as they did yesterday and that they continuously evolve to better meet our internal and external customers' needs and expectations.

Your area of responsibility as a system developer includes maintenance/troubleshooting/error correction as well as assignments, projects, new development, and further development. You will also contribute to the work with requirements management, analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Together, we are responsible for understanding and translating the business needs into sustainable solutions. We work with both front-end and back-end solutions, and in your role, you may work with both parts.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant higher education or vocational training in IT. Alternatively, work experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
  • Current experience in programming in Java version 17 or later.
  • Current experience with SQL, reading and analyzing how data has affected the DB.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular or equivalent).
  • Experience working with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).

Furthermore, you have excellent knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of English. You also have good skills in the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with microservice architecture.
  • Experience with automated testing, batch management, version control, message queue management.
  • Experience with Docker and container management.
  • Knowledge of Splunk, Maven, Jenkins.
  • Experience with Bitbucket (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar).
