Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 24 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 250 billion kronor each year. These are everyone's tax funds that we manage. It is a great responsibility. Therefore, we think innovatively and use the latest technology to simplify and improve, develop and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. The IT Workplace & Basic Infrastructure area is responsible for the development, management, and assurance of IT workplace solutions. We deliver cost-effective and secure IT services based on the needs of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency – from development to decommissioning – and ensure that our solutions meet requirements for availability, capacity, and security.

We are now growing and looking for an IT Coordinator for the office support unit who wants to contribute to further developing and streamlining our deliveries, ensuring stable operations, and creating even better conditions for a modern and secure IT environment.

Planning, Coordination, Responsibility, Development

In the role of IT Coordinator, you will work operationally in a team of five people and product managers to ensure and develop our IT services for the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and affiliated authorities.

Your main tasks involve managing IT equipment that is no longer in use. This means planning and coordinating the retrieval and decommissioning of hardware and ensuring that equipment is handled correctly and efficiently. You are also responsible for ensuring that there is a sufficient and relevant supply of personal IT accessories, such as keyboards, mice, and headsets, and maintain ongoing dialogue with suppliers to ensure that deliveries occur according to agreements and needs.

In addition, you will participate in the team's and unit's joint activities and play an important role in planning and coordinating deliveries, ensuring that the right resources and efforts are in place at the right time. Your work is characterized by a holistic perspective where you start from the needs of the business and ensure that our services function smoothly and efficiently.

To succeed in this role, you need to have a structured approach to work. You have a good understanding of goal management, time and resource planning, and can quickly grasp complex issues. You take your own initiatives, drive the work forward, and ensure that it leads to concrete results.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a university degree or experiences and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
  • has knowledge and understanding of goal management as well as time and resource planning
  • has the ability to quickly understand various issues and sees the big picture
  • acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • has a systematic and meticulous approach to work
  • has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you

  • have experience in building trust and creating good relationships with clients
  • have good knowledge of Excel
  • have experience as a delivery manager and contact person for suppliers
  • have experience or education in finance, budgeting, or forecasting
  • have experience in lifecycle management of hardware
  • have experience in needs inventory of personal IT accessories
  • have knowledge of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's IT environment.

This is a permanent, full-time position, with a start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. Swedish citizenship is required for this position.
