Sundsvall Municipality is looking for an experienced and self-driven IT specialist with a focus on infrastructure, operations, and security.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a senior IT technician, you will play a key role in our IT operations and technical development. You will work with:

• Security and incident management
• Operation of our systems, ensuring they function today and tomorrow
• Implementation of various types of new solutions/systems from standard systems to custom-developed
• Automation and optimization of the IT environment using scripts and tools
• Technical advice and collaboration with internal and external parties.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

• An academic degree in IT, engineering, or another relevant field. Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge through experience in the field
• You have several years of experience in IT operations and system administration
• Deep knowledge of virtualization (VMware), containerization, Windows/Linux, service/system monitoring, and IT security
• Experience in troubleshooting and log analysis to identify and resolve issues
• Ability to work independently and drive improvement projects
• You are analytical, structured, and communicate well in Swedish and English.
