About the role
Mycronic develops and manufactures advanced solutions for production within electronics and display manufacturing. Within one of our four divisions, PCB Assembly Solutions (PA), we offer equipment and software for electronics production, both standalone machines and complete production solutions. We have both offices and production under the same roof in Kista, where you will be based. Mycronic as a whole has around 2,000 employees, with the PA division having around 500 employees in R&D, production, purchasing, sales, finance, marketing, HR, etc. Around 150 employees work at the Kista site, and your immediate team currently consists of 2 employees. As an Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer, you are responsible for developing, coordinating, and driving the environmental and OHS work for the PA division.

Responsibilities
As an Environmental and OHS Engineer, you are responsible for the company's environmental and occupational health & safety work, including compliance with laws and requirements, chemical management, climate and environmental monitoring, OHS support to managers, development of management systems, and internal audits according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Main areas of responsibility:
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and internal requirements, including environmental law compliance checks, audits, and authority reporting.
- Be responsible for chemical management, including chemical lists, safety data sheets, contact with chemical specialists, training, and driving substitution work.
- Collect and analyze climate and environmental data, and drive the company's environmental and climate improvements through support in methodology and improvement work.
- Develop and monitor systematic occupational health & safety work according to legislation and internal requirements, including the development of routines, processes, and instructions.
- Support managers in OHS work, for example through risk assessments, investigations of incidents and accidents, and the creation of action and action plans.
- Monitor changes in occupational health & safety legislation and implement them in the business, and conduct training and disseminate information to the organization as needed.
- Develop and maintain the management system's routines and processes within environmental and OHS, and participate in the planning, execution, and follow-up of internal audits according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
We are looking for you who
For this role, we are looking for someone who is self-reliant, proactive, and thrives in a dynamic environment where you get to help shape and establish structures for environmental and OHS work. You have an analytical and structured approach to ensure high quality in documentation and reporting. Furthermore, you have a holistic perspective and the ability to integrate environmental and OHS issues into the business to create long-term and sustainable results. Additionally, you are communicative and have a knack for creating engagement and trust by guiding, training, and building good relationships with both managers and employees.
In addition, you have:
- A post-secondary education in environmental technology, occupational health & safety, natural sciences, industrial environmental/OHS, or equivalent.
- At least a few years of relevant experience, preferably from industry, production, or a similar environment.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and preferably ISO 9001 as well as audits.
- Experience with systematic occupational health & safety work and the application of AFS (Swedish Work Environment Authority regulations).
- Experience working with chemical management (SDS, REACH, WEEE, SCIP, etc.).
- Very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, as both languages are used in the work.
