Job Description

Are you a secure, stable, and service-oriented person who thrives on taking independent responsibility? We are now looking for a security guard for an assignment where customer contact, professionalism, and good judgment are just as important as previous experience in security.

In this role, you work primarily independently in a reception and are responsible for the daily security of the site. Duties include stationary security, patrolling, visitor management, reception services, and ongoing customer contact. You will also have security responsibility in the assignment and be an important representative for both the business and the customer.

This is a role for you who are comfortable with solo security and thrive on making your own decisions in daily life. You need to be confident in yourself, able to handle different situations with calm and professionalism, and understand the importance of delivering good service in every interaction.

If you are not already a security guard, we will train you!

The basic training is 8 weekdays and takes place before employment. The training is unpaid but covered by Securitas.

The working hours are during the day, 07:00–19:00, with a 5-2 schedule. This means you work two weekends per month.

The role includes, among other things:

• Protecting vital societal functions from unauthorized access and other threats
• Performing checks according to current regulations and instructions
• Cooperating with staff and authorities on security matters

Requirements

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from high school
• Category B driver's license
• Swedish citizenship

Merits if you also have:

• Previous experience in service roles, such as reception or similar experience
• Civil or military security guard training. If you have completed security guard training with the Swedish Armed Forces as part of their basic training (GMU), this can be validated for civilian use. The security guard training and GMU must have been completed in 2016 or later, and your training certificate must not be older than five years at the time of application.
• Previous experience in guarding security objects, other security work, or security operations.

Security Clearance

Note that the position is classified and involves undergoing a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval under current regulations, security interviews, background checks, and register checks will be conducted. The assessment aims to investigate compliance with the law, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and potential vulnerabilities according to the Security Service's regulations and guidelines. Information collected may come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment of you, your life situation, and financial circumstances when evaluating your suitability.

In some cases, a corresponding check may be conducted on the person you live with or have a similar relationship with.

To be considered for the position, you must (at a minimum):

• Not appear in the Swedish Police Authority's various registers, e.g., suspicion register or criminal record.
• Have a clean financial record; no payment defaults, unregulated debts, or entries with collection agencies or the Swedish Enforcement Authority.
