Do you want a key role in developing flight safety at Sweden's largest airport, in a business where your work makes a real difference every day?
We are now looking for a Safety Partner for the Arlanda Airport Safety Office. Here you will have a central role in further developing Swedavia's flight safety work together with operations, management, and other specialists.
What does the role involve?
As a Safety Partner, you play an important role in further developing Swedavia's Safety Management System (SMS), with a particular focus on risk management and Management of Change (MOC). You are one of our leading specialists in SMS and risk management, working both strategically and operationally to ensure proactive, structured, and efficient flight safety work.
In this role, you have overall responsibility for developing, maintaining, and improving methods to identify, analyze, and manage flight safety risks. You work closely with operations, management, and other specialists to create conditions for safe changes and a continued strong safety culture at the airport.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have a strong commitment to safety management and who thrive in a role that combines development work with operational support.
You have:
- Several years of experience working with Safety Management Systems (SMS), risk management, and safety governance
- Experience in developing, maintaining, or improving processes within SMS
- Good knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk follow-up
- Experience leading or coordinating risk management or safety-related activities
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical and operationally relevant solutions
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
Advantageous with experience of:
- SMS and risk management within the aviation industry
- Airport operations, airline operator, air traffic control (ANSP), or aviation authority
- The role of process owner or system responsible
- Driving safety development at the organizational level
- Authority dialogue and supervision
- ICAO Annex 19 and EASA regulations (EU 139, ADR.OR, ADR.OPS with AMC/GM)
