Do you have experience in security work and operational work in an alarm or control center?

As an operator in the security center, you work with various security solutions, camera surveillance, management of other security systems, collaboration with internal and external partners, and practical security work. You lead and coordinate surveillance personnel in both daily operations and during incidents and operational interventions. You also handle alarm monitoring and the management of security alarms from various systems. You are responsible for the management and monitoring of IT systems and other technical security solutions, such as camera surveillance, access control systems, case management systems, etc.

The role also includes administrative tasks and reporting, such as documentation, follow-up, case management, logging, and incident follow-up. Operational surveillance may occur, such as patrols and physical guarding of buildings and areas within the scope of our assignment.

Work at the security center is conducted 24/7, year-round, with shifts scheduled during days, nights, and weekends.

Your Background

You have relevant education in the security field or equivalent knowledge assessed by the employer as comparable. Education in areas related to security protection and/or business protection, as well as guard training, is meritorious. You have experience in security work and/or operational work in an alarm center or similar. We also expect you to have experience working with IT systems and communication equipment.

It is meritorious if you have experience from working on large-scale surveillance assignments and if you have experience with operational surveillance. Experience from working in the public sector is also meritorious. Experience as a supervisor/instructor and experience with CCTV work are also meritorious. Knowledge of the organization and operations of the Government Offices and/or knowledge of the public sector is meritorious. Knowledge of surveillance methods, the Public Order Act, and the Security Protection Act is also meritorious.

Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

Other Information

The position is a permanent appointment (one or more) starting with a six-month probation period. The work involves scheduled day shifts including weekends, but night shifts are also included. Working hours are adapted to the needs of the operations and based on scheduling. The position is classified in a security clearance category, and a security check with register control will be conducted before a decision on employment is made. You must be a Swedish citizen, but may have a foreign background.
