Your Role

As an analyst, you will belong to a unit within the Signals Intelligence Department. The department works with the collection, processing, and analysis of raw material, delivering intelligence reports and other services to the agency's clients.

In the role of analyst, you play a central part in transforming information into insights that make a difference. You will be responsible for one or more areas of work where you will operate both operationally and strategically to monitor, analyze, and assess developments within the production area. Your main responsibilities include, among other things:

• Collect, understand, and translate information, partially in Russian and English
• Process and analyze various types of data, information, and source material
• Monitor developments within the production area and identify patterns, trends, and deviations
• Produce reports and presentations, and adapt production to the recipient's needs

You will work in an operation where the external environment is constantly changing and new issues can arise quickly. Therefore, you need to be comfortable switching between different tasks, handling changed priorities, and adapting to new conditions. You see change as a natural part of the work and have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas without compromising on quality or accuracy. We see that you have a strong interest in defense and military issues as well as total defense.

The position involves working in an operation where confidentiality is a natural part of everyday life. Furthermore, you will have frequent contact with both internal and external stakeholders. Domestic and international travel may occur.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• Post-secondary education
• Good computer skills
• Good reading and listening comprehension in Russian
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Relevant education within the defense and security sector, the military sector, total defense, and intelligence work

More Information

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, approx. 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. Before employment, you will undergo a security clearance in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be mobilized in wartime.
