We are now looking for a Security Coordinator – Physical Protection at Teracom.

About the role

The position is located within Teracom’s Security and Operations Department, Security Unit. The role entails overall responsibility for leading, developing, coordinating, and monitoring Teracom’s work on physical protection – both within security clearance and operational security.

The work is both strategic and operational and involves developing physical protection across Teracom’s entire operations. The role is varied and challenging, with great opportunities for personal and professional development. You may be assigned to wartime duties in your position.

Main responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• act as the demanding party and expert function for physical protection across Teracom’s operations
• provide expertise on detection and delay protection solutions, such as alarm and access control systems, CCTV systems, as well as mechanical protection in building structures such as doors and other enclosure surfaces
• follow the development of new methods and technologies regarding physical protection solutions
• define and develop work processes related to physical protection, such as access routines and other security-related working methods
• design and implement governing processes and documentation within physical protection
• participate as support and expert in projects and procurement processes concerning physical protection solutions
• contribute to ensuring that Teracom’s physical protection meets relevant regulations, standards, and internal requirements

The role involves significant responsibility and places high demands on knowledge within security and security clearance, as well as experience working in environments with high confidentiality requirements.

Travel with overnight stays away from home may occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• relevant education in the field
• several years of documented work experience in physical protection, security, or security clearance
• excellent knowledge of security clearance and the regulatory requirements governing the design of physical protection
• excellent knowledge of relevant standards, certification requirements, and industry standards for physical protection solutions

Merits include:

• experience of both operational and strategic security work within a state-owned company, authority, or equivalent operations in the private sector
• broad experience of security clearance work, such as security clearance analysis or security checks

Other requirements

• Valid driver’s license (Category B)
• Employment requires passing a drug and alcohol test, background check, as well as a successful security clearance with register check, as the position is classified. For this reason, Swedish or Nordic citizenship is also required.
