Qualifications: We are looking for security-conscious, social, empathetic, and positive individuals with inner confidence and a natural drive to help others. Security guards work in many different environments with highly varied tasks - we are looking for you who enjoy working with people and have a clear service-oriented commitment. We also appreciate if you can communicate fluently in English.

In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe, you must meet the basic requirements to qualify for the position:

• Be of legal age before starting the assignment
• High school diploma
• Good proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written)
• Category B driver's license

You must also be crime-free*, drug-free, have a sound financial situation, as well as good health and physical fitness to be employed at Avarn Security.

Security guard training is meritorious for these positions. Other meritorious qualifications include experience in the security industry, some technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments.

If you have the right profile for Avarn and proceed in the process but do not already hold the prescribed training (VU1, VU2), we will cover your training! Security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted at BYA (The Security Industry's Vocational and Occupational Health and Safety Board). Participation in this is a prerequisite for employment.

* To be employed within Avarn Security AB, you must be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company, in accordance with the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies.
