Due to changes in our work group, we are now looking for a team member for a position of approximately 75%. The schedule covers days, afternoons, and weekends, and includes the possibility of taking team leader responsibilities for two weeks per month. You should be a calm and secure person. Commitment, sensitivity, and respectfulness are natural traits for you.
We need someone who understands the seriousness of the work and the importance of creating safe and high-quality care for the client in their home, but who can also plan for a rich and meaningful day for the client. Together, we work to create a good work environment and a truly great assistant group!
As an assistant, you will be part of a positive team around the client, where you will work in pairs during certain shifts. The client has 24/7 assistance. He has autism and uses picture support, so clarity and focus on the client are very important in the work. He enjoys music, baking/cooking, doing puzzles, and going for walks.
The Role and Experience of the Assistant
You need to be careful, responsible, sensitive, proactive, and positive. You need to have your own drive and a genuine desire to make every day valuable. You are a positive and secure person who looks at the work as a personal assistant in the long term. We are looking for someone with some experience in care or pedagogical work. Personal qualities and chemistry weigh heavier. We welcome male applicants at the client's request.
You need to be flexible regarding working hours as we in the work group cover staffing if someone is sick or on vacation – we step up for our client and for each other.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working with people with neuropsychiatric disabilities.
- Experience with communication through picture support.
- Work with low-affective approach.
- Experience in scheduling and rostering.
- Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement.
- Driver's license and access to a car (the client lives in a rural area).
- Non-smoker.
Working Hours and Employment Degree
- Start date by agreement.
- Part-time 75%.
- We are also looking for hourly substitutes.
- Double assistance between 08:00 and 20:00.
- Varying shifts: Day, evening, night with on-call duty, weekends.
About Salary
- We apply salary according to the Fremia Collective Agreement.
