Equmenia Church Huskvarna is looking for an committed youth leader who wants to develop our work with young people together with volunteer leaders, staff, and the entire congregation.

About the position

We are looking for someone who is passionate about young people and wants to help create safe, fun, and meaningful contexts where young people have the opportunity to explore Christian faith, build relationships, and find their place in the church.

As a youth leader, you will become an important part of our operations and work closely with young people, volunteer leaders, and families.

The position involves, among other things:

• Leading and developing the congregation's youth work together with volunteer leaders
• Building relationships with young people in their daily lives
• Planning and conducting youth gatherings, camps, and other activities
• Being involved in confirmation work
• Supporting and equipping young leaders
• Contributing to the transition between children's, tween, and youth activities
• Encouraging young people to find their place in the congregation's community and worship life
• Collaborating with the Equmenia association and other employees in the congregation

Experience in youth work, leadership, or congregational work is meritorious. We view education in areas such as theology, leadership, pedagogy, or youth work positively, but place great emphasis on personal suitability.
