We are now looking for an experienced and development-oriented manager who wants to take overall responsibility for the authority's exercise of power within elderly care. This is a role for you who are driven by developing operations, creating engagement, and ensuring legally secure processing with high quality.

As a manager, you will have a central role in leading, steering, and developing the operations based on current legislation, political goals, and the strategic direction of the operations. You combine clear leadership with a strong focus on quality, development, and sustainable results.

You are responsible for a well-functioning unit consisting of:

• 39 employees within assistance processing, housing adaptation, transport services, and fee processing

• 2 group leaders

• 1 specialist social worker

• A unit manager with a 50% assignment

Together, you work to ensure legally secure, efficient, and professional authority processing with the individual's needs at the center.

As a manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, personnel, economy, and development. The role involves close collaboration with both internal and external actors and active participation in the strategic development of the operations.

• Lead, coach, and develop managers and employees.

• Have full personnel and work environment responsibility.

• Responsible for recruitment, competence supply, and salary setting.

• Create a culture characterized by participation, development, and responsibility.

• Responsible for budget, forecasts, and economic follow-up.

• Ensure a cost-effective operation with good economic control.

• Identify deviations and initiate improvement measures.

• Collaborate with internal operations and external partners.

• Represent the operations in relevant forums.

• Contribute to administration-wide development work.

• Make decisions within the framework of delegation.

• Drive change and development work.

• Ensure that the operations are conducted according to current legislation, guidelines, and set goals.

• A degree in social work or other relevant higher education.

• Several years of experience in authority processing within elderly care.

• Documented and several years of experience in leadership with personnel, operations, and budget responsibility.

• Very good knowledge of the Social Services Act, administrative law, and other relevant legislation.

• Meritorious if you have completed a leadership training.
