About the Position

Ljungbygården is centrally located in Ljungbyhed. The residence is on one level with a view over Ljungbydammen. The work at the residence should be based on each individual's needs and wishes, with a strong focus on providing high-quality care.

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Nurse (Undersköterska) in Klippan Municipality, you perform tasks covered by both the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act. You are required to comply with legal requirements and keep your professional knowledge up to date.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that implementation plans exist and are updated.
• Serving as the primary contact for care.
• Reporting and documenting according to legal requirements.
• Active and close collaboration with other professionals in the team (social secretaries, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists).
• Active and preparatory participation in team meetings.

In your assignment, the individual is always in focus. You carry out approved and prescribed interventions with a preventive and health-promoting perspective. You maintain a professional approach where the individual and their relatives are treated with empathy in all situations.

You must have good ability to plan and carry out care and nursing tasks, reprioritize tasks according to the situation, and handle stress. Collaboration with colleagues is crucial to ensure interventions are performed with high quality. Mentoring and supporting new colleagues and students, as well as your own competence development, are part of the job.

You have good knowledge of personal care and can provide safe health and medical care based on the individual's needs. Furthermore, you have knowledge of daily life rehabilitation, care hygiene, and social pedagogical tasks such as conversations, contact, and activation.

Qualifications

• Education: Educated Assistant Nurse. At least approved according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's professional package from the Care and Nursing Programme (equivalent to 1500 credits). For titles granted before the 1500-credit requirement was introduced, the employer may conduct qualified individual assessments.
• Delegations: You possess and maintain the knowledge required to receive the following delegations:
  • Medication administration
  • Insulin treatment
  • Subcutaneous injections in pre-filled syringes
  • Nutritional support via Mic-Key or PEG
• Language: Good knowledge of Swedish (reading, writing, speaking, understanding) within the context of healthcare.
• Computer Skills: Good ability to use technical equipment and IT for information, communication, and documentation.
• Driver's License: Category B license (not required for care and nursing homes, but considered an advantage).
