Vårdcentralen Råå is located in southern Helsingborg, just a stone's throw from the sea, with good train and bus connections. We are a staff of just over 50 employees caring for our 11,300 registered patients. We offer a wide range of clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, hypertension, elderly care, and district nursing, as well as a Child Health Center. We strive for every patient to have their own named doctor, and for patients with chronic diseases to be regularly called from a waiting list for visits. This ensures good and high-quality care for our patients.

Here, we work in a cross-professional and team-based manner, with doors always open for collegial questions and discussions. We hold short daily morning meetings to keep everyone updated on what is happening in the operations. Furthermore, we constantly strive to develop and continuously work to improve our activities. Job Description

As a resident physician (ST-läkare), you will have an exciting and challenging job with good conditions for broad training within the specialty. Your education will be tailored in consultation with your supervisor to make the training as optimal and interesting as possible. You will work with common tasks such as scheduled and emergency doctor visits, act as a consultant physician for nurses, supervise students, and participate in rounds for assessment and triage.

The physicians at the health center have different areas of responsibility, such as Child Health Services (BVC) and rounds in our nursing homes, which are part of your training. Additionally, collaboration cases with the municipality and other authorities are included. Today, we have nine specialist physicians in general practice, five resident physicians, as well as AT and BT physicians.

A permanent position as a resident physician may be preceded by a fixed-term appointment as an assistant physician for a period of three to six months, in accordance with regional guidelines for the appointment of resident physicians in Primary Care.

Qualifications

Regarding formal requirements, you must have completed AT or BT and be a licensed physician with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare. You must also have Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

You are thorough, secure, and stable, and view patients from their different needs. Furthermore, you are receptive, empathetic, and have a positive attitude. You also have a good manner towards both patients and colleagues. You show great commitment to your work, cooperate easily, and enjoy a variety of tasks. You thrive and feel secure in your role as a physician, and share your knowledge without hierarchy with colleagues in different professional groups, as well as with students and trainee physicians.
